Does Marvel mystery oil work as a fuel stabilizer?

Been using it consistently for well over 25 years, long enough that it came in the metal cans. I use it as a fuel additive only. I use it in everything from my lawn mower to my classics. Fuel lasts far longer and Seems to offset or at least prolong the effect of ethanol fuel.

A New Ford Barn Is Coming...

Well, from what I remember, we came close to not even having the Ford Barn. Used to be a message board format that was dying off. I don’t recall exactly why it was going to end, but there was no one that was willing to take it over. Ryan came along and kept it going. Not all of them...

Front spring shackle stud removal from perch?

Nice job on the tool, I bet there would be a market for that and it would extend across the 1928-1934 Model years. This is a job I’ll need to do in the future so I’m a customer if you decide to make more of them.

1932 3W Garnish Molding Bumper Pads

I will be installing my window garnish molding soon and I see the vendors sell a bumper pad of sorts. CW Moss has the P/N B-45830, there are other examples, but none are consistently the same style or shape. I also do not see anything online or in my books concerning placement of these pads...

1932 Ford Rear Window Glass Size

Is the rear roll down window glass the same size between the 3 & 5 Window Coupes ? I see different vendors that offer the 5W Coupe but not the 3W. I need the 3W and would prefer to order a single one vs the entire glass kit. Thanks

So I found all these model a plaques…

Re: So I found all these model a plaques… Those are original old car show dash plaques. I see a repo ID tag, etc. Dash Plaques were very common and popular until around 2010 or so. Few clubs and shows still do them, but not as common as they were in years past. I have sold and...

    Eckler's anyone?

The Eklers line is notoriously well known across the hobby. Not just Model A’s, but Vettes, Trucks, Tri-5, Falcons etc. Simple Google search will return dozens of threads. Missing and incomplete orders, involuntary back orders, inflated shipping and extremely poor customer service. As...

1932 coupe wood floor boards, who makes

I purchased a set from CW Moss in 2023, at the time they said they were Brookville. They were not a perfect drop in and had to be massaged to fit. Nothing drastic, but there was a lot of sanding, little trimming to get them in. Overall, They were a good fit. The adjustments that I had to...

Is this the end of Swap Meets?

The Big 3 was one of the best. I was fortunate and was able to attend the last one in 2020. Imagine my surprise when I’m the first one to visit a guy unloading a trailer full of Deuce parts. I left with spindles, bumpers, irons, garnish molding and some seat tracks. Good Times for sure.

A Very Nice '40 SOLD today on Hemmings - $27,536.00

That level of car was easily $40k just a few years ago. I’m seeing nice convertibles in the low $30’s now. I think this was a tremendous bargain!

    V-8 Times

Ive been a member for close to 25 years now. The magazine is first class and Im glad they continue with the print edition. Going 100% digital has had a detrimental effect on a number of clubs. I know of two national clubs that watched their membership plummet by well over 50% in a year...
