It's a 38 engine, insert bearings. I've seen other mounts work, but the flathead probably isn't going back in for a long time.

In O'Fallon,Illinois. I'd be interested, as I am learning how to completely rebuild and recondition these engines, in time. It's an excellent hobby.

True, but I'm at the point where, if it costs too much, I cannot justify its existence.

    Flathead swap questions

I'd prefer to keep what I have, but I am open to alternatives. It's not going to be a hotrod,or race car,but a daily, with potential for long trips every weekend.

    35 Ford V-8 Configuration

Thank you for getting back so quickly, I appreciate the information. It has been an interesting go at it. I will certainly move forward with the current configuration if nothing is to be gained by dual pumps on each side.

    35 Ford V-8 Configuration

Good evening, I recently purchased a 1935 Ford Model 48, with a myriad of issues. First off, after a severe overheating and leaking issue, the engine was found to be rather cobbled together. The engine is around 36-37, with water pumps in the block. While expected, this conversion was done in a...
