I misunderstood the question. It looks to me like the visor brackets and frame are the same color as the rear view mirror, which is a medium brown. Mike Kubarth will know the exact color. Post the question on the Early Ford V8 forum under the 40 Ford Book forum.

Mine are original and seem to be the same color as the headliner. Sorry I don't know the actual color, it looks like beige, but I'm sure Lebaron Bonney can help you.

C and G Ford Parts sells both colors in spray cans.

3M makes a weatherstrip adhesive remover. It comes in an aerosol can and you can probably find it at a Napa store. Product isn't perfect but will help remove the adhesive without ruining the paint. I think others make a similar product.

Henry, my flathead was rebuilt recently and I had water leaks from two head bolts. I tried Barrs to no avail. What worked was loosening or removing the affected bolts and applying Permatex RTV between the bolt and the head. I then installed and re-torqued the bolts and haven't seen any leaks since.
