This problem only happened as it was working alright before. Using the hand throttle I can only move it till about half way as it meets resistance and stops. I will investigate will these suggestions

Thank you all for the replies. My thinking for the alternatives for Anti Freeze was to see if they don't cause the same gasket leakage issues as anti freeze. The Cyclo product is available in New Zealand, so I am keen to try.
