    What did you do today that was flathead V8 related?

    my 48 ford mercury flathead has a gremlin in her. the amp meter and temp gauge are playing up. when the car is running they both work as they should, but when turned off the amp meter stays were it is and the temp gauge goes straight to hot. can anyone help please.
