I’ve been offered an old Hall Toledo EJ. Does anyone have a source for valve seat grinding stones? I’ve tried some of the majors: Regis, Cylinder HS, Goodman etc. without success. The company still has a working website but I can’t get a response from them. Thanks

I’m not building a racing engine but I have to agree with Kube on this one. If I’m going to assemble the engine I’m going to do it to the highest possible standard I can. If nothing else it will make me feel better.

Yep got a spring scale.

Can someone point me to a source for reasonably priced valve spring shims for an 8BA. Red’s has them in three sizes for a great price but the shipping is a killer ($22 bucks on an $18 order). I suppose $21 of that cost is California taxes so I can’t hold it against them. Speedway only carries...
