Another vote here on the ignition switch. Mine would heat up and the game was over. Bypass the ignition switch completely and see what happens

Make sure the power wire that feeds the dash is connected to the correct side of the starter solenoid (battery side).

As a test bring the grd from the battery directly to the engine. Rhis made a huge difference on my car years ago

Stock flywheels had a ~2” high wall circling the pressure plate mounting area. Does anyone happen to know why they did this?

What is the approx operating pressure of the brake system?

I’m currently driving the car but planning this winter project. The flywheel has been resurfaced (1974) and it is at the min thickness. Does it make any difference using a new flywheel that doesn’t have the 1 inch high ring around the clutch surface area? Aalsi any recomendations? I would like...
