I used Steele Rubber Products PN 20-0390-72 door seal. Measures about 5/8 wide and 1/4 thick, with a little 1/32 rib on one edge. Lessened wind noise, and didn't effect door closure too much (bit a little naturally). Where it is really tight in the jamb it has conformed to size/shape.

I should have said 'at the crossmember in front of the axel, (a senior moment). I was once told by an old mechanic to avoid the center of the axel as it may bend, he said to only jack towards the shackle ends. He said these early axel we made to 'twist', which suggest that they will bend given...

I would avoid jacking at the center of the front I beam, I jack on the front cross member behind the axel. At the rear I jack on the pumkin, then set jack stands. Good luck, be careful.
