Those '48 lower mounts won't work with 35/36 wishbones like they do other years. I bought a set of the new repose and will take a hundred plus the ride for them.
Need pieces that attach header to top irons and body mount that the rear of top iron attaches to. I have some extra top iron pieces i would tread or I will buy.
I now have an extra set of top irons but they are not cherry and are missing a couple of parts. I will keep you posted on what they are worth and what parts are missing.

Okay, I take my early hood hooks apart and plate the top. Now I need a source for the proper rivet to reassemble them. I believe they are truss head, .146 od by .750. Any ideas short of buying thousands?
I used a weird pilot bushing in my turboglide crankshaft 327 w/ t-5. Finally got it to free up by starting it in gear with clutch in. Motor leaked oil from rear main like you never seen. Dropped pan and found that the input shaft after the pilot
area was cutting into the pilot bushing...
Considering everything involved with finding a genie firewall, I've noticed an abundance of repos. Some have all the original holes and some don't but why are the prices all over the board? Brookeville/Pacific Industries/unknown Chinese with and without holes and that just the original style.
