    53 Ford 2 door Customline

Currently registered and insured. Good solid running, driving project, or drive as is. Fairly clean straight body/chassis. Interior is nothing to brag about, but complete and functional. Window channel clips

Never could find the clips. But, Ii came up with a solution that worked very well. It won't be ok with purists, or show cars obviously, but it worked very well, and even better than the original clips. I took standard JB Weld puddy, and made a small ball (about 3/4"). Oblonged it, and formed it...

    Window channel clips

does anyone know where I can find Window glass run (channel) retaining clips? I am replacing the glass in my 1953 Customline and I am missing 5 or 6 clips that hold the window channel in place. I can not seem to find a source for them.

    Window glass runs...

Just bought new side glass for my 53 Customline, and I need to find the glass run channel. I am having a hard time finding both pieces the rear division run (runs along the back of the wing vent), and the other that runs across the top and down the back side of the glass. I need a set for both...

    English and american language !

I was over there in the early 80's and most the Germans my age (under 30 at that time) spoke fluent English. But what I thought was the weirdest (until a German waitress explained it to me), every time the wife and I were in a Gausthaus to eat, I would speak German, and order in German. The...

On the same note, serving in the Air Force, I was stationed in Germany. I spoke German (although not fluently. I took German in high school). I went over there with confidence speaking the language. However I was stationed in the Hunsruck area, which is a very different dialect than the German I...

I am a southern boy, born and raised even though as a kid I moved to South Chicago. I remember in the 70s we lived right next to a Polish family that was full Poll, and all had Polish accents and lingo (even the kids). I ran around with the boy my age from next door even though we could not for...

What things are call vary between countries, and also across generations. Years ago if you called something "Sick", it was a bad thing. These days to tell someone that their car is "Sick", it's a complement. Also, all my kids that range between 32 years old, and my youngest being 16, ALL of them...

    hidden radio preformance

I actually thought about drilling a hole in one of the buttons. It would work, but you would have to be sure to point the remote directly in front due to angle of the IR. I was hoping the remote was RF (Radio Freq) because RF doesn't need "line of sight" like IR (Infaread) does. But, it's IR so...

I loved that show and watched it every saturday night as a young teen in the 70's. I also have to admit at that time I watched it because every so often you might catch a breast shot in one of the skits... A bonus for a young teen boy in the 1970s. Lol.
