Could I have "torsional Vibration"? My '30 phaeton runs smooth as silk under power. Then on deceleration it really gives me a foot massage. Up to 25 mph it is almost unnoticeable. Then at 30-35 it's bad but at 40 and up I really don't want to decelerate without disingaging the the clutch.

MSMARON, If the one you have with bowl adapter is the one intended for Lincoln Merc. carbs, you may have to obtain the (scarce) emulsion tube that came in most SW installs as the "fuel line kit no. 30". I have never seen the bowl adapter but believe the emulsion tube may be part of it. They...
I had a Southwind in my '29 sedan. Mounted it to the angled top portion of passenger side floorboard as did not want to drill firewall. Worked great. It does not have to be mounted exactly vertical. Vacuum from WW port on intake.

It looks like the original rear leaves...
My friend has a 1953 F-100 pickup with stock 215 OHV 6 cyl. engine that has developed a major problem. I have a good 300 engine and attached transmission. Am considering a swap to the later engine.
What in your opinion is the best route to take? Will the old bell housing and ****** fit the...

Just another thought.
Keep in mind there was a BIG difference in gasoline formula back when those spec's were made and todays mixes.
If you try to match those specs I would use the premium at the pump and NO alcohol.
I put a BW overdrive in my model A and it has a 21 tooth driven speedometer gear. I need a 19 tooth for a closer reading speed. (3.78)
I used a 1953 Ford unit. Please check your parts stashes.
