I am suprised to see no-one has answered my question. I am still searching for an answer plus the same question applies to the brake switch, the oil pressure unit on the back of the engine left side, the temp. brass units on each side of the heads(2) of them. I sure could use the answers guys.

will the stock 1948 ignition & light switch handle the 12V conversion or must they be replaced with a 12V unit?

HI! My grandson & I are doing a total restoration on our 48F1 w/ a 239 V8. We want to do a simple start up of the engine. No wiring is yet installed. I have installed an IGNITOR & matched it with a 40,000FLAME THROWER coil. We will do up as a 12V pos. neg. ground. The engine cranks over with...
