Tried opening the radiator cap to see what was in there. No matter how hard I tried to turn it, it wouldn’t budge, either way. Had an OLD neighbor come over, he remembered how they work. Now I know, whew, a lesson a day is gonna take a long time !

Think I have the photo thing sorted out. My PU has balls for mounts, no shocks.

How do you find date info from engine number?

My problem is most clubs meet after dark, and I can no longer drive in the dark. Clubs in Houston....drive in Houston...only going to the medical center, to the back of an ambulance! Edit...good suggestion, and really wish it were easier.

I saw nothing that looked like a shock, either a tubular, or knee action. Guess I need to study up on how to post pictures.

Were shocks installed on a 30 pickup? I bought this a couple of weeks ago cause I always wanted one...and know NOTHING about it. No longer very mechanically inclined, or able, be gentle please.
