I am looking for a filled center grill panel for my 1941 Ford custom.
These used to be made as an aftermarket customizing add on. I am hoping that some one has one before I start to make my own.
See the pic for reference.
I can be reached at funk4all@gmail.com or send me a PM.
Thanks.

I am using the same color mix on my 41 Ford custom. It is almost Blue/black. My understanding is that Ford used Red oxide primer which would give it a darker shade. Perhaps the person that touched up the paint on your car used a grey primer underneath which would give it a lighter shade.

We corresponded by e-mail and when I called and talked to Mac personally he kind of chuckled...
Shot this engine last week and this firewall the other day. As you can see I cover everything. Over spray is like dry wall dust. No matter how well you protect it can creep in.
Gun was about 30-35 Psi. Single stage enamel. My 40 year old Devilbiss suction style gun. Rarely get above that unless...
Yep. Plus they can be slippery as hell when laid on the floor.
Been painting cars and varnishing wooden boats for 40 plus years now. (Can't believe it's been that long). Wet down the floor. And just be careful that you don't drag your air hose across it and get it wet so it drips on to your roof...
For what it is worth. I have used and seen many a stripper and sign painter use Easy Off oven cleaner to take off stripes and lettering on cars. And leave the paint.
Remember that the paint on the car usually has a hardener in it and stripes and lettering don't.
Maybe try it on a wheel if they...
