It's FORD night on the History Channel

The History Channel could never be taken seriously as a factual resource of knowledge. Most of their programming is tired overused footage with half a$$ed explanations. They offer cheap filler material to hang commercial breaks onto.

    Paint A Car With Rustoleum?

I have seen Rustoleum 2X used on a set of fenders with fantastic results.I would have sworn that it was professionally done at a body shop. The 2 X product has more color pigment than the regular can.The color was black although they have many colors of 2X.

    Model A steering wheel resto.

Thankyou everyone for your ideas and suggestions. Craig I think your idea is great and I'm going to try it out.I might possibly be able to make the coat hanger tool into a sort of plane by attaching the hanger sections together solidly. Maybe use a metal backing strip and solder. Thanks Again...

    Hood Latch Restoration

Hi Fellow A'ers , Ive read someplace that they restore hood latches. How do you disassemble them? I see the pin on the bottom needs to come out but I cant see how the internal rod & spring come out that way. Any tips on this type of operation is appreciated. Thanks, TG

I saw a tool for removeing the screws years ago in a Chevy manual. All it was is an arbor press with a bit on it that you could twist. TG

    The Two Week Window period

I agree that 2 weeks is the normal period of mourning by your casual friends. In my case my closest friend of 35 years who got me into Model A's died unexpectedly 2 years ago. He went with me on my first Model A purchase and said he thought I could handle the extensive restoration it needed. He...
