Thanks for many years of help!

Very grateful to have the Fordbarn, appreciate all of the kind words! Even though my Flathead will be gone I still enjoy reading the posts and offering any help I can from what I have learned over the years!

Thanks for many years of help!

Happy/sad day for my 36 Coupe that my father bought back in 1977. My wife and I have decided to move south to Florida and my cars are not making the trip. Sold the coupe and the new owner is picking up next Thursday. I have so enjoyed restoring, driving and telling people about out car...

    Proud of my little Flathead

Had our anual car cruise and show, two day event here in Bay City Michigan with all proceeds going to American Cancer Society. My 36 was one of 3 cars with Flatheads, out of 559. Actually had one guy who looked at my engine and said , what the heck is that! Told him it was the new Ford EV, plugs...

    New wiper arm for 36

Collar seems to be nice and tight, getting the spring compressed and not slipping and scratching the paint made me nervous! Its on and back to normal again, thanks for the help!

    New wiper arm for 36

Adapter, collar came off, now what is the trick to instal the wiper arm. Looks like you have to put pin in the hole then bend it? Does that half moon part go against the shaft? Sorry , don't want to break the new made in China part!

    Lower front of ‘35

Re: Lower front of ‘35 AnthonyG , your car looks very nice now for sure, like others said, reverse eye will drop it a nice amount if you want to make a small change. Big n little tires are cool too, I did both and like the stance. 550s up front and 700s in back. Enjoy!

Best way to Detail running board covers

Have cleaned my new running board covers but have a few gray areas and would like them to be more uniform, black . Was not wanting to put Armor All or something like that as its oily and would attract dirt. What is best to use for show appearance . Thanks

    Drive Your V8 Ford Day!

I was a day early, drove mine yesterday even with the missing hub cap that fell off the day before! People just love seeing and hearing the Flathead, such a great looking motor. Rain today so she is all tucked in my shop. Enjoy the drive:D

Project getting close to the finish line

Tubman, good question....several tabs are not very tight holding. Looks like they are riveted on?

Project getting close to the finish line

Well, all finished with new brake cylinders and she is stopping fine now. Took it for a nice drive from my shop to home, about 4 miles...drove in and my wife said, you are missing a hubcap! We went back along the same roads but no luck on finding it, ordered another one from Macs and my paint...

looking at a restored 36 ford coupe

Pretty car but looks like you could do much better, continue the search process. My 36 is pretty darn nice after paint and interior re-do and I would be shocked if it brought $30k. The market for these cars is getting smaller as the younger generation does not care about them like us old farts...
