I am thinking of puting an automatic that I have in a 1952 OHV 6 cylinder Ranch Wagon in a 1951 with an 8 BA. Does anyone know if the 52 auto, flex plate, etc on the OHV 6 cyl will bolt up to the 8 BA? Thanks for any advice. Joe

I used one from a Harley Davidson because it takes less pressure to activate it. Works fine in the 49.

Thanks guys for all the comments. They were very helpful. It was definately a lack of fuel issue. It's a little better now thay I cleaned the high speed idle circut of the carb and cleaned the thank out. Thanks again. Joe

I recently totally rebuilt the front suspension and steering on my 49 sedan, (Stock). I know the toe, castor and camber settings for bias ply tires, so my question is, are the settings the same for radial tires? Thanks for any help you may have. Thanks, Joe
