    Importing from US to Canada

Yes, I understand the issues due to travel restrictions. We are returning back to Canada and as Canadian Citizens we are allowed to enter Canada. Do you know what did the US customs do to verify the serial number on the car?

    Importing from US to Canada

@2935ford - I have the title in my name with the serial number but how do they check the serial number on the car? I don't think it is easily visible without removing the body.

Hello, I am looking for advice on transporting and importing a 1929 Model A from Michigan, USA into Ontario, Canada. Has anyone done it themselves without using a broker or transportation company? What all paperwork is required? I don't have a truck to pull a trailer but I am open to renting...

Help disassembling rear left brake for 1929 Model A

Thanks @100IH and @alexiskai for the tips. I already bought Timken's wheel bearing grease as I saw it was being sold by Bratton's (https://www.brattons.com/wheel-bearing-grease.html) Would this work for the rear wheel bearings or do I need to start over and use the other ones that you have...

Would that be OK or should I use something else? Also, I'll be reassembling both the rear brakes after painting them. So I need some more...

Help disassembling rear left brake for 1929 Model A

I am also debating whether there is any real value in removing the camshaft lever. The camshaft seems to be in good shape. All other parts of the rear brakes on both sides have been removed. My only reason to remove would be to clean and lubricate it properly and also allow the backing plate to...

Help disassembling rear left brake for 1929 Model A

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was able to remove the lever by sliding it out with a pry bar. The backing plate came off easily after that even with the camshaft lever still attached. The next problem is to remove the camshaft lever. Looks like the backing plate was painted afterwards (see...

Help disassembling rear left brake for 1929 Model A

There are no springs on either side but the emergency brakes were working fine before I started opening things. Should I add the springs?
