Let me think about that, NO!!!!

I had a heck of a time trying to learn how to drive and shift just get it going and not run into anything. What a learning curve! I have an auxiliary trans in mine. I was panicking and heading for the garage. I almost had to change my underwear. I was about 10 feet away but everything to me is...

trying to figure out how I posted pics the first time. I wanted a before and after. This weekend I got everything back together just had to order more parts that are on the way and should have the old girl running again. I did not realize that as you put on the cam gear you have to rotate the...

I ordered an aluminum gear,(Dan McEachern) a fan pulley with sealed bearings, gaskets ect. I ordered from Chaffins garage and my parts were here in 24 hrs. shipping was $22. Good service! I will check my gears for play and rotate to make sure nothing binds.

Thanks , as usual you are always a big help!

27 TT truck stop running. turns out the fiber gear had failed, teeth missing. The engine had been restored quite a few years back. The truck sat for a long time with not a lot of drive time on it. I believe the cam, crank gear are timed at the 4:00 and 10:00 position or there about? I have heard...

I have this friend at our local market and her father had this windshield, He was into Fords big time. She wants to sell it, what would be a good price to sell it for? There was one on ebay for $280, it was rusted through on some parts of the frame. It was listed for a 17 Dodge. It looked...

Anybody know what year this windshield frame is?

I have tried searching and read a lot of info on polarity on a 27. From what I have read It can go both ways. Just not good on the electrical for long periods. Which is it positive or negative ground? When I bought the truck the battery was not hooked up, so I have no clue. I would like to get...

Makes sense Thanks for the replies. I have been trying to get this to a car show and spending a lot time on it. Yesterday and today was the show, so I missed it but I did meet some nice people. Sometimes the best thing is to walk away take a break. Then go back with a better attitude.

27 TT I have been trying to get this truck started. It has been 15 plus years since it ran. Yesterday was the first attempt to start it. I cleaned the commutator connections as they looked dirty. I did oil the commutator but only but a few drops in it. I did not want to saturate it. Is this...

I added more pics of the before in my albums. Dusty and dirty sitting a long time in the desert.

Well I'm glad you like the way it used to look because by the end of the week your are really going to like the changes.
