    Flathead tools

Howdy, It's been many years since I was last on the forum. (2016) Things really changed for me in these past years and now I have discovered that I have some KR Wilson tools left in my tool boxes. I have sold, donated, given and even just plain tossed my leftover '34 ford parts. I have just...

Want to prepare 33-34 grille for plater

I simply took mine to the plater and they did all that work. That is what I paid them the BIG $$$$ for anyway. And a beautiful job they did for me.

    Bad reproduction window channel kit?

When restoring my coupe, I had these very same problems. Channels from Vintique. I went online and either here on FB or Early V8 Club, I found a couple of nice gentlemen that sold me spare originals they had. I made the quick decision to buy from them and have never regretted it. The originals...

    What does this go to??

Does anyone know what this air breather / cleaner properly goes to? It came with my 1934 Ford but I can find no other photo of one like this listed with any 1934 Fords. Thank you.

    1936 Grilles

I know that in 1934, Ford stamped their grilles and nowadays you can spot an aftermarket because they were welded then chromed.

    scales

Well, once again I have learned something new. I have always been lead to believe that you must take your rotating parts to a machinist to have the balancing done. I honestly never thought of scaling it myself on my own bench. Well, now to go find me a good scale. Thanks guys for yet some more...

    Electric fan for a flattie

I am using a "puller" style 12v fan from Johnny Law's in Washington. Works great behind my Walker 4 row on my 1934.

    DMV / MVD issues

My dear old Dad, (may he rest in peace), used to say that "Whippet" is what you yelled when you were riding in one of those makes of cars. He would say that you would hang your butt out the window and yell, "WHIPPET"! Well, that is what he used to say rest his soul. Indeed he was one of...

    DMV / MVD issues

No, the "nice lady" took it away from me. I asked why and she said "we have to shred it". Why? There will never be another car with this VIN.... I hope.
