Fan horsepower. 2 blade, 4 blade or plastic?

Thanks everybody. Interesting food for thought. I have kicked the idea around to see about taking fan blades off and putting an electric fan on. After checking, the radiator is 18" wide, but you still need a water pump, and the shaft sticks out, sow now you only have 10.5" at the bottom of the...

Thanks Jeff! I have another one in the works if we ever get more than a light dusting of snow here in NE Texas!

Fan horsepower. 2 blade, 4 blade or plastic?

So, two blade fans tend to break easier. Four blade don't and the six blade plastic ones won't. Between the three, does any one type of fan blade pull more horsepower from the engine than the other? Along with this, there are many stories of a fan breaking, so the driver broke off the other...

Ran like a sewing machine up until this incident. 2) I replaced the points and condenser about 1,000 miles before this happened. 3)...

    Model A with 12v coil

I drove about 750 miles to a car show in Saltillo, Mexico in June. After filling up with gas in Monterey, I started having firing issues. Before making it to Saltillo, I stopped a few times, and eventually just replaced the distributer and carburetor. I could only get up to about 30mph or so...
