Looking for a pair of short 1951 Mercury front bumper guards. John

I am interested in the 1947 5 window Coupe rear seat, and a drivers side rear fender. I am building a Coupe, which I need the back seat for and my brother is building a 2-dr sedan which he needs the rear fender. . If these are not sold yet, could you send me a picture and shot me a price.:D...

Does anyone have patterns for the metal framework and woodwork for a 1934 Ford Coupe Bench seat that they would share? I know I can buy wood already cut, but I would like to try and build my own. As for the springs, I would opt to buy new.:D

V*Coupeman, I used the same springs (49-54 Chevy PU) minus a few leafs on the rear of my 34 Ford coupe back in 1964. Still going strong, good ride.

Joe, I am building a 47 chopped coupe and will most likely run into the same problem. I will try to deepen and widen the spare recess in my trunk, it's sits right over the rear spring cross member. There is at least two inches between the floor and the cross member. John:D

Coupedupnow, I had a friend with the same problem on his 40 Deluxe 2dr sedan. It turned out that he had to loosen his fenders at the body and running boards and found that when he moved them up a little, it solved his problem. Not sure if this is the same thing you have or not.

Is anyone re-popping the spare tire wheel well for the 49-51 mercs? The 49-51 Fords are smaller...:eek:

I was wondering if there were any bushings that could be replaced that may have worn out?

Does anyone have any info on adjusting sagging top rails. mine on my '51 Merc sag a little over the back edge of my doors when the quarter (rear) windows are down. I have a friend with a '50 that does the same thing, but his is worst. Any manuals out there? If so where could I find one, or...
