Found out 368 pistons have different compression height so no go. Still looking for 1955 341 oversize pistons. Tried EGGE and Kanter and theey have no stock, otherwise need custom set

I'm rebuilding same style transmission. That early Syncro whill have to come out, get new ball and spring kit, piston ring compressor and a BFH to get it back together. But since you have to take the trans out and take it down that far might as well as refresh everything while your in there.

Hi Pluck, Unfortunately it looks like it has been re stamped. You can feel where it was ground down on the pad as it is no longer flat.

Hi Steve, I will get some pics this evening. It also has the early front timing cover that bolts directly to the front cross member and early oil pan with the clean out plate.

Finally was able to upload more pics, had some problems but after resizing and re naming I was successful. I was hoping I was going to get away with hone and rings on this one just to have a runner while I'm building my BIG inch hot rod banger but that #4 rod journal doesn't look too good to...
