    Salvageable or Not!

It seems to me, after reading your posts, that what you really enjoy is the challenge, and the bigger the challenge, the better. If that's the case, then go for it. Let us know how you make out. If it fails in the end, remember the words of Stroker McGurk. "If it don't go, chrome it"

Who Makes an Interior Package for a '34 3/W ?

If you decide to reupholster this car remove the original very carefully and save every piece, including the headliner and panels around the rear window. If you cover the original panels, trace the shape on a pattern material and save it. There is value there!

    1934 5 window garnish moldings

Five window coupe and four door sedan doors are NOT the same. The only similarity is from the belt line down and I'm not really sure about that either. The door tops are completely different as is the hinge location. Such differences also include the garnish moldings.

34 5 window Lebarron Bonney instructions

The 34 5 window has both metal and wood bows. There are two metal bows above the rear window, a light one about 5/8" wide and a heavier one about 1 1/8" or so. Both these bows have a composite tack strip attached. The heavier bow is positioned directly above the rear window, is attached on both...

    Woodart

Frankly, don't waste your time with other vendors. Like 37 Coupe says, Brad's Woodshop, Friday Harbor, Washington 98250. If he doesn't have what you need in stock, he'll make it and it will be high quality.

    34 Ford Roof Installation

Lots of good information on this site for this topic. Do a search. Of importance, be sure to cover the top of the top bows with cotton duck or heavy fabric. Staple to the side of the bows, not to the top. This will prevent squeaking or tapping of the chicken wire on the top bows. Also, when...

    Headliner fit question

I would think that the roof contours and the bow spacing would be different between the 54 and the 55/56 so if that's the case it isn't a great price if it doesn't fit. If the original headliner is still in the car, I would remove it carefully and use it as a pattern.

    Flathead Festival, Melbourne

Yes that 34 roadster is a real find. Not big on 34 sidemounts though. And what is on top of the engine in the 29 roadster pick up? No one seems to be answering.

    Mercury vs. Ford

As far as I know Bob (junior) is still carrying on the tradition. He's pretty much a one man show but certainly has the capabilities that his dad had along with specialty fixtures and profilers for turning out Sportsman body parts such as complete wood deck lids and the like.

    Auction fun

Nice condensate pump. Now you need the steam engine and boiler to go with it!

    wheel LUG NUT torque....

I don't think anyone in 1935 torqued lug nuts. Maybe at the factory. Some say torque till they squeak. I would say in answer to your question. Tight
