My 85 yr old Uncle told me a story about his courting days in a model A. He said if you lift up on the stick, you can turn it towards the firewall, to make more room for you and your date....while you are parked. You model A experts here probably knew this, but it was news to me.

The tag on the fire-wall appears to be blank, how can I tell what year it is? The title is no help, it was replaced years ago and I'm not sure it's right. Thanks.

any one running an 8 volt battery? Need to buy a new one this week, my old Uncle recommended 8v. He is usually right, but I saw no mention of 8v as I looked back through the posts here. Is 8v ok, or should I stick to 6? Thanks.
