The T-170 is a Tremac 4 speed trans. 4th is overdrive. Mid to late 80s F150. 3 different OD ratios. Get one from a V8. Top Load Shifter comes out approximately 2" from an original 3 speed. Lots of posts on Ford Barn. Got one in my Avatar 35 Roadster.

Does your OBH carburetor have a two bolt flange or a three bolt Flange. If it is a 3 bolt, then your intake is not a 33. If it is two bolt flange and your intake has a two bolt flange, then have Charlie rebuild the carb. If you need / want a original 33 Detroit Lubricator carburetor, I have one...

Can not install at T170 overdrive transmission from an F150 in a 32 without cutting the K Member.
