After you remove the frame with rthe glass 3/4 of the way up the glass and the felt tracks will be able to be tilted in enough so the glass slides up and out.

I have always held a pencil up to the window, put the eraser end on the glass, If there is a double reflection it is AS1 windshield glass. For all flat glass applications that is used for windshield and side/rear windows.
