    Dim dash lights

I put all 6 volt LED bulbs in my 41 Mercury. Only thing to remember is if you have turn signals on your car and you change everything to LED then you have to change you flasher to LED also.

    '46 Mercury horn wiring question

There should not be a jumper wire. You are correct. The thicker yellow wire is the power wire. The other wire is from the horn button and acts as a ground to the relay. The whole unit gets a ground thru the fender. I just restored my horn assy. if you have any other questions.

1936 correct tail light bulb watts

I went online and bought LED bulbs to put in mine so they are brighter. You can buy them in 6 volt or 12 volt. They are brighter and use less power. Just remember if you have added turn signals that you need to change you flasher to an LED flasher. I have changed all my bulbs to LED.
