Your sandblasting equipment seemed to do a good job on the body. My local media blast guy won't do sheet metal with his dry system. Maybe the difference is the wet process keeps the heat down. What type media did you use on sheet metal?
Also, great progress on the subframe and patch panels...
I think your results came out great especially for a first attempt on real steel. The overall experience will no doubt help when working on the "28. Making a street rod from the 35 is a great idea. There are many good uses for a body in that condition. Fortunately, total classic restoration is...
I have a 2001 1200 XL Custom and love it. I would agree with separating stuff before blasting especially to get the frame and sub-frame fully cleaned. I took my 29 frame to a commercial place in town fully stripped bare and glad I did as he got well inside all the rails and corners. Now I have a...
Looking good so far. It looks just like the advertised results. Sometimes it's hard to believe all you see on a advertisement video. So, it's good to have someone actually trying this out and documenting the results. We will all learn from your good efforts.
I have seen those units demonstrated online and the principle sounds ok. I'm talking about the same basic idea except you are going all the way commercial and what I was suggesting is the "home owner version". I don't really want to go into the business but have a higher psi gas engine powered...
Is this a wet blast system used with a pressure washer by any chance? I'm curious to see what you decided on as I'm at the same stage with the need to remove rust from sub rails and body parts. There are many different opinions on blasting sheet metal to remove rust but I have seen it done...

A beautiful design effort with lines that take the standard body and give it a hint of elegance and speed. I've worked at Ford most of my life and never saw pictures or heard of this vehicle.
It Started With A Kiss - Glen Ford and a very hot Debbie Reynolds.
Starring the 1955 Lincoln Futura which later became the basis for the George Barris Batmobile.
Can you add pictures or send via email? Would like to see clear pics of both sides each door. Also can you measure width of doors?

This is a brand new transmission swap kit originally from Auto Restorations to swap a GM T5 5 speed transmission into your Model A and mate to the existing motor, bell housing and rear differential.
If you would like the added comfort of 5 speeds including overdrive and a syncro trans to...
