I am trying to identify the proper plugs for my 36 V8 and where the plugs can be purchased.

I have a 59AB engine with the old standard 6 volt box coil. I would like to use the cheaper new coil. But to use to old bracket and the shorter distributor hot wire I can modify the bracket but the new coil has to be inverted (upside down). Will the new coil correctly function in this position...

complete tune up including condenser, points, wires, cap & rotor. Gets good spark, gets fuel (looking down top of carb and moving accelerator rod) adding gas in carb and either. To no avail, I just won't fire. Plugs seem dry as if no fuel getting in even when adding a couple ounces of gas down...

rebuilt clutch and resurfaced fly wheel, pressure plate, and still some chatter when hot. Is it to be expected?

I recently purchased hoses for my 59ab and they seem to be too short. The purchase was through Mac's. Are these china products? Where can I get the proper sized top hoses? Steve
