When I converted to12v I rewound the horn field coils as per Tom Endys instructions. Horn never sounded better.

The resistor will only drop the voltage from 12 volts to 6 volts when the learn is working.

They seem to work great I have been putting them on using a front pulley hub (pulley machined off) to hold the seal in alignment while I install the pan and front cover. Saw one that still leaked, think the block was line-bored off-center

I use resistance spark plug wires on my Model A. Recommended by Pertronix the maker of my electronic ignition.

I shortened the tire metal cover so lt does not extend into the wheel well. My Firestones fit much better now.

I use a Reds try-y Header. Holly fuel pump is mounted inside the right side frame rail. I use SAE J30R9 fuel hose from the tank to the pump and from the pump to the carburetors. On a hot day the pump will feel warm, but not hot. Been on for about a year, no problems so far.
