Thats what Im thinking but, the tabs shouldnt have moved so if I remove the shell filp it over and line up the mounting holes with the shell lying on the radiator vs. over the radiator I should be able to see where its off. Did that make any sense? Stay tuned......

Exactly.... Not sure where the issue is. I took it to a regular radiator shop so, you know how some places freak out and overthink it because it a "Model A". I even thought maybe tank stretched or buldged when the pressure tested it... Any other ideas as to possible cause? I mean its going on a...

Well if the radiator is too tall wont that effect the hood alignment and fit?

Ok....so, I had a 29 radiator re-cored. Since I got it back, the shell or any shell for that matter will not alighn and is off by about 1/4". You think the radiator shop could have made it too tall. The tank or the mounting tabs should not have been messed with. So, getting a little frustrated...

Anybody have an old unrestored hand wiper that will work for this project. I cant put a shiney repo on her....
