I know that website quite well. Its how I was able to get a "indian" red for my retro Indian motorbike tribute build. how ever my interior color is a two tone, the main color is "Medium Blue" as ford called it and the lighter trim is the exterior Diamond Blue color. There is no Medium Blue...
I haven't checked craigslist. Will give them a look how ever.
It is. Why I am going for a 302 made after 1994 as the truck based 302`s after 1994 all used the same F4TE roller cam. Only upgrade I am contemplating is the 94-95 Cobra 5.0 roller rockers which is basically a roller 1.7:1 rocker...
Even if they don't have a mix for it if you have a good paint sample from the car itself you can take that in and they can fly in a mix expert to get the mix for the paint.
I ran into that on my '63, got paint from the local paint shop gave them the code then I went back a few months later to...
I checked, all the local junkyards don't currently have a '96 Explorer engine. I put a line out online and got junkyards as far as Chicago saying they have one but all of them wanted well over $1,000 for the engine not including shipping.
If I could have found one local I agree that would have...
Yep that's what I found out the 93 - 95 cobra 5.0`s used this roller rocker.
My thing is I have to get a new engine for my truck, the balancer broke apart and spun on the crank, crank wasn't damaged but I think it egg shaped the snout as the crank bolt came out hammering on it about 3/4 of the...
Well ive been having a hard time finding mix formulas for my '56 for the interior, everyone I chatted with told me to pull the glovebox where the paint hasn't seen sun to get a sample from to custom mix it to. My glovebox is just as worn inside as it is outside age wise.
Automotive Touchup Paint is where I get my paint, can buy it for spray gun use or in the spray can.
Its where I got my Diamond Blue for my '56 from to paint my new fender skirts. Only thing is they don't have interior colors so good luck trying to find that.
Yep, I am still how ever still on the hunt for a reasonably priced NOS unit as this rebuild is just to get by till the car is restored.
They did a great job of getting the dents out but you can see ripples though where the dent was its not perfect but its a lot better than a huge dent.
Reman here for $190.

Also the power steering Control Valve Assembly, its listed as fitting 1953 - 1956 with a part number of B5AZ-3A730-A.
If you feel compelled you might be able...
I took my original radiator to a local builder that's been in business for years. They shipped my core out to dallas to have a new core made while they attempted to remove dings and dents from the copper radiator tanks then reassembled it for me. Mine being a '56 is an odd ball as it still has...
True. I will keep that in mind.
Right now I found theses made by Proform under license.
They are a slant design and will fit aftermarket roller rockers. I can also save money getting them bare and paint them blue like they offer but use the same 2k engine paint so it all matches color wise...
Thanks for the reply, that's the thing I don't know. Looking at the way how these are made they are low profile they don't even have poly locks which is what typically raises the height of roller rockers. These are plain old non adjustable pedestal mount rocker arms just like the old stamped...
I have this nagging question I want to pose here to see if anyone can give me a more direct answer than a vague one.
I want to reuse the '82 Ford factory stamped steel valve covers on the 302 in my truck. how ever I am upgrading to a newer '96 Explorer long block that I will back date to be...
The filler panel under the grill was argent silver.
the two piece gravel shield under the engine how ever I believe was painted black. Mine has no original color left on it so I don't know what mine was. My '56 is kind of an odd ball as it has body color on the frame in areas that makes it...
I have jpeg copies of the pages I just don't have a way of embeding the photo unless I use another forum as a hosting source.
Went ahead and hosted them on the other forum I am on to post it here.
