Hello, I'm putting my 29 roadster back together after disassembling it. My problem is that the rumble lid don't line up very well. As seen by the pictures it is racked in every direction. When I took it apart it was never this bad. I did remove the quarters from the sub rails to fix them but...

Took me most of the day but got them tight and smooth as can be! Figured out the repro triangle pieces were just slightly to long. After a little shaping everything fell right into place! Thanks!

Utah allows them as well but you need to have a matching set. They won't allow it if you only have one. Which makes it pretty tough since it can be difficult to find a pair.

Hi Everyone! A buddy of mine is attempting to restore a 1929 Hudson. Does anyone know what type of wood was used to reinforce the sub rails? It is the same as the wooden blocks used on model A's they are just larger pieces that have finger joints that can be adjusted. Its quite a interesting...
