Thank you all. I agree. A car is worth more running & driving than sitting still without an engine, In this case, the stock car engine owner bought the i engine from Falc0nii Bros. in the 70's when they retired ii from com0petiion, replacing it with an overhead. The engine sat in his garage...

A long time close friend has made an offer to buy a an original '28 roadster on an original '32 frame built as a highboy and set up as flathead powered in the Vern Tardel format, following the Ford Hot Rod book by Vern & Mike Bishop. The roadster is setup with '40 running gear, original...

Good advice, plus use brake cylinder lubricant, to lube the end of the tubing as it is being flared. If someone doesn't post a photo of it or the name, I will tomorrow.

Thank you Mike. You are right, I have seen those listings, like the Monroe shock. The local parts store has been here for years, and just jumped on to the NAPA bandwagon when the 2 owners bailed out. We still have several long time employees, one of whom ran the machine shop, until they...

We have an odd application for a rear brake with the same two female ends for the 1/4 tube size inverted flare fitting, 7/16-24 thread. We need a hose about 12 -13" long, vs the stock 91A-2078, 3/4". Are there any in the EV8 parts arsenal or any custom hose manufactures that could produce what...

If you can get there, the Early V8 Club swap is at Fitchburg MA this Sunday 4/30/23. that way you can deal with real people and real parts. Rhinebeck NY is coming up soon in NY. Another great swap meet.

A lot of sage advice here. I would place a wanted ad for an F1 box. There are still some out there. Having built a '29 high boy roadster on '32 rails with F1 steering there is probably no easier way that also looks right and steers great.

Re: Williamson’s Instruments Ron & Co. Do great work in my experience, It takes awhile though.

I have good experience buying from Yankee Mike in NC. You don't suppose the holidays disrupted the process.

Good question Kube. The value is in the eyes of the beholder.

Thank you all. Looks like want to find out what Ford 9" is under the car. I would likely by using some 16" Kelsey- Hayes bent spoke wires as I have 5 real nice ones.

1. Will the 16" EV8 wheel fit on a Ford 9" rear axle" 2. If not is there a work around or adapter. 3. Maybe and option to buy a '34 that is mostly stock except for Ford 9" which is big negative in my book unless ? Thank you.

Using the Purolater Facet electric fuel pump eliminates the need for a regulator as it is solid state and is self regulating to the design pressure you purchase. Also, Teflon tape on fuel line fittings is not recommended as small pieces of Teflon tape can get into the fuel system.

Is there difference in value between a '33 & '34 5 window coupe that are exactly the same except the years ?
