I had this same issue on my 30 Tudor. It appeared the PO had installed a rubber gasket at the top of the windshield with the windshield in place. The gasket was doubled over in a few places, making it double thick at the top, preventing the frame from fully seating to the top header.

Just wanted to post a quick message related to my new to me 30 Tudor. Upon inspection, I found that their was no cotter pin in the main brake rod pin coming off the brake pedal. Yikes! I can't imagine the experience if that pin had fallen off while driving, especially if the wife was in the...
