I believe you have to go to the DMV and tell them it is a rebuild and assorted parts being used.....they will tell you that you may have to jump through some hoops for inspection then you will receive a new vin number. That's how it works in new York...Good luck

Just put a fresh battery in 31 model a . hasn't been run for two years. If I take the switch from the starter and touch the starter,it will turnover. Could the switch beshorting out?
