How do I remove the starter bendix cover ? I'm having trouble engaging the bendix to the flywheel starter ring.

Some time back I recall reading about a FordBarn member who was able to take a stock axle and make into a 4" drop axle. Any Member recall this article ?

Here's a question - how much of a difference is there between truck frame ( '47 pick-up) and a car frame ( '39 ) ? I'm thinking of building a '47 pick-up and I have a very good '39 frame available for which I'd install a pick-up body on . What are your thoughts ?

This might sound strange - when your flat head gets "Vapor lock " is it in the carb or the fuel pump ? I remember years ago (?) when you got vapor lock you'd pour water over the fuel pump. Then wait for it to cool down - hopefully it would start. The reason I'm asking this is because earlier...

What is the difference between a '37 and a '39 fuel pump ? Is the mounting the same ? I'd like to install a '39 fuel pump with the bowl mounted along side of the pump v/s fuel pump with the filter built on top. Are the push rods the same length to provide the proper stroke ? Rayzor

O.K. Here's the problem - the first time I blew the 6v horn using 12volts - yes indeed it was LOUD - later, like a month or so - I blew the horn again - this time it was weaker , the next time even more so weak - then it turned into a buzzer - and now its no blow ! Rayzor

I'm looking for somebody that can convert a 6v to a 12v original horn from a '37 ? Or perhaps can instruct me on how to do and where to get the parts.
