If you have a low heat welder like a tig, you could weld it. A welding shop might be able to help

Looks like an interesting project for sure! I am knee deep in 1938-39 1 ton stuff now and there are a lot of shared parts with 1-1/2 ton and a lot with the 1/2 ton on these. Have you checked compression yet on the cylinders? You probably have and I missed that. Also a radiator servicing...

Coupebarn is a scammer too. Replied to a want add and sent me a photo off the internet of the part I was looking for. Would not take paypal and gave me a non-working phone number. Kept giving me excuses as to why he could not call me or send photos that were not off a google search online.

I finally received a response from Horkey's and ordered some bed supports. They said they are going out of business soon, could not find anyone to buy the business and are retiring.

I called them today and put in an order. The guy says he has them made and has plenty right now. Does a deep discount for larger quantities so I ordered enough for 5 wheels just to have a few extra.

Found these hub cap clips and got a couple to see if they work. They are an exact match so figured this might help others. I bet they would work for some of the other Ford pickups and trucks through the 50’s but I don’t have access to any vehicles to compare them to...
