yeah the reproductions look like that, but the wire diameter is too thick to go in the grill holes, plus its takes alot of force to compress them! it would probably dent the grill trying to use them

Hey guys, Im so close to being finished with this 36 ford roadster. Im getting hung up on the grill side mouldings though. Ordered new clips and they are super far off from working. If i compress them, they are still larger than the diameter of the holes in the grill they are supposed to go...

thank you wayne! i have those brackets in the existing holes, i actualy welded studs to them so they bolt in and i can adjust them accordinly. thanks again! its been hard to find reference stuff for the 36, im glad theres a couple on fordbarn. Rick

we do this in buellton, ca. We arent that far from grover beach. I like to use all the parts from Richard Lacy when we do these.
