    What's Happened Here.....?

Get all of that tape and stuff off that clutch shaft and see what you have. Share some pics. Could be an attempt to stop an oil leak or a quick fix on something else. The MTFCA transmission book is helpful as is the Ford Service manual.

    First Time Drive

One more bit of info; not to add to the mystery of learning to drive your T but you will find over time that there is a neutral sweet spot in your clutch pedal between low and high that will allow you to not to have to keep using that brake lever to get your trans into neutral. Finding that...

    Parking Brake Rods

The MTFCA Forum site has a Vowell diagram section. There are brake diagrams posted there. Langs also has a good brake system diagram in their paper catalog. I don't know if its online.

When things like this stump me I slow it down and go back to the basics and recheck spark, fuel and air(mixture) especially when the car...

    King pin replace

I just did my king pins using the Snyders reamer on my first Model A. Long time Model T guy (30 years) enjoying my new 28 Roadster. I followed the Les Andrews book. I pressed in both new bushings first, then did the reaming. The reamer has a smaller front end that does a preliminary reaming...

    body dismounting help, please

The "timbers" are the sills of the wooden frame. The sills have 3 or 4 metal brackets attached to them that align with metal brackets on the metal frame. Undo the bolts attaching the sills to the metal frame. There are a couple of options on lifting off your T-body. The Model T manual shows...
