A few - maybe QUITE a few - years ago I posted a topic about how to measure backspacing. But since the group got reconfigured, it's probably in the FAQs but I can't locate it. Does anyone have a link or a copy of the article? I didn't keep it in my computer archives.

Perhaps something to consider - a possible alternative is a PowerGen alternator, I had one installed on my '56 about 15-20 years ago. Looks like the generator & used the original brackets. Costly but can't remember what I paid for it back then.

I'm glad to be done with my car. I'd hate to go looking for stuff now. I still have a room full of leftovers that would likely fetch a fair price - and I'm not gonna try & get rich from them. The room I'd have by getting rid of it is worth more to me. I used to sell a lot of stuff on ebay...

Does anyone know of a source for a flexplate for '59-'62 yblock hooked to an FMX transmission? Best I can tell, the original Ford # is B9A-6375-B
