who restores wiper motors and/or cutouts

I wrestled with this question for several months. Finally picked up the phone and called Berts. All problems solved and the rebuilt wiper arrived in 3 days. Great people to do business with.

    wiper ?

Barkleydave that's my problem. I have an electric replacement but I don't want to lose the opening feature and it looks terrible sticking out there. Mike I'll try those two. Thanks H L thanks for questioning my IQ. Sounds like you maybe a worthless lawyer or may have been abused by one. Thanks...

    wiper ?

Hey guys, I have run into a problem with my vacuum wipers. The car is a 29 Tudor April date and the wiper had been replaced with a later model Trico wiper that mounted on the inside header. It still ran through the windshield frame and the windshield still operated properly. The shaft on this...

    car coral

Brent I like cash too, but the way the drug enforcement people are working around Nashville I am having second thoughts. There are reports of these jokers confiscating cash from legitimate business folks and making them prove it is theirs. The process can take several months. I hope they catch...

    Battery Terminals Melting

I'm with Tom - The insulator between the switch and the starter body is suspect. Also you said that you removed the switch after the first trouble and then it melted down. Make sure the insulator is on properly and the screws are not replaced with longer ones. First hand experience! Phil

Merry Christmas to you James. Thanks for all the help and it was great to hear the motor running when we picked it up. It should be cranking in her on frame by the New Year.

    Manifolds

Thanks guys What I thought was material was probably just rust scale. I was thinking about keeping the fuel cool and not about warming. Phil

    Manifolds

I am about ready to put my intake and exhaust manifolds back together and button up another project. My question is what goes between the two? There appeared to be some kind of material between them but not much of anything was left. It seems to me there should be some kind of insulation here...

    Single stage vs base/clear

Just finished a Concept PPG job on my '29 Tudor. The rose beige was very shinny but after cutting and buffing, I was very impressed even with my limited experience. It has been a long time since I painted laquer and the old acrylic enamel and I was pleased with the coverage and ease of use.

    Tudor top molding trim

Thanks again to you guys Starting in the middle was where I was going but the idea of a small block shaped to fit the snap in piece is a great tip. It is always good to have a place like this to ask questions or bounce ideas off someone else. Thanks Phil
