Anyone recognize this SoCal rod?
It's been photographed at several events this summer including LARS, Hot Rods on the Tarmac and Outrider's Picnic.
Trying to collect some nice photos for an old rodder friend.
I am restoring a pair of '35 headlights. The trim ring latch on both is beat up and ugly. I want to install the replacements by Vintique, #A-13044-BSS.
Can you help me with 'how to round over the supplied rivet' that attaches the piece that is inside the ring with the piece that is outside...
My lights have bolts that I think will work. I was at the hardware store and couldn't find a nut that would fit. Anybody know the nut size? It looks like 18 threads per inch. Need the SAE diameter size. Thanks.
I've heard you should paint your phone number or the trailer license plate number in large characters on the roof of the trailer to make it easier for the air cops to spot.
My Victoria (October 1930 engine #), while lacking the original body tag, has holes small enough to accomodate the rivets used with aftermarket body tags. I would think the holes made by sheet metal screws would be too large to later use rivets.
I have a triangular tool check out tag from the Rouge Plant.

These were used to check out company tools, so they knew where to look if they weren't returned at the end of the shift.
I've learned on here that all known Victoria bodies were produced by Murray.
Over the weekend a friend with a 400A asked if I knew whether his car had a Briggs or Murray body.
Any help? Thanks.
