    36 Ford 68 light switch

I am having issues with the light switch, old type can at bottom of steering column. I am thinking about changing to dash light switch, is this relatively simple to do. At the moment I turn the steering wheel and they come on but I cannot get high beam now. Al, Australia.

    '36-'39 Wide Bolt Pattern

I have the original wheels on my 36, I was thinking about changing the hubs over to accommodate a more normal stud pattern. Are people saying a 1940 Ford has hubs that will fit and have a more usual stud pattern?

seems to be a lot of free play in the pedal lever, I can see on the fulcrum that the pedal rests far forward. The cotter pin is set in the center . Does it need adjusting or is there a spring I cant see or is missing somewhere?.
