Hi, If anyone knows, how do I get the front gear off of the main shaft on a 1935 transmission? Also, is there supposed to be a seal where the front spline comes out of the transmission before it goes out into the throw out bearing? Thanks in advance for any help. Bill

Hi, The galley plug behind the cam gear that I removed had a spring on it. Is there supposed the be a plunger on the end of the spring? Also, the engine had the org 3 ring pistons, is there any advantage to running a 4 ring aluminum piston? Thanks, Bill
