I watched Paul Shinn's video on changing a 12 volt Alternator over to a 6 volt Positive Ground. I purchased the kit and installed it. When I put it on the car it blows the 30A fuse when you install the fuse which tells me there is a short in the Alternator. Can anyone tell me what to look for...

Purchased a 1928 Tudor that had been setting up for 20 years. Rebuilt Carb, Distributor and replaced the gas tank. Cranked it up and went to take a ride but it is very hard to steer. Jacked up front wheels and it is still a little hard to steer. What should I look for and what should I do?[

WANTED I have a rebuilt 8 BA V8 that the block is cracked. Machine shop did not magniflux. I am looking for a good block to replace it. I will take a rebuilt shortblock if someone has one or a good running used engine.

When converting from 6 to 12 volts, which 12 volt coil do you use? Which resistor? Can u use a 12 volt coil that has a built in resistor? Does anyone have part numbers?
