Thanks every one. I did find the VIN and it does fall in line with the 34 on the document that corvett8en linked. Unfortunately my title does not match that number, so i need to figure out what to do next, Thanks for all the information.

I was told that the Earlier models {Pre 1935} had the VIN on the motor, but the the ones after have the VIN on the body. I have a plate on the firewall that might have had a number but it is illegible now. I am not sure if this will be a problem.

Greetings and Salutations Gentlemen, I recently purchased this barn find. I was told its a 34 Ford but near as I can tell, the engine is a 38-39 ish. Can anyone help me narrow this down? I think I may have a problem here. Thank you
