How well to repro splash panels fit?

I just installed a set of repop panels and running boards on a 30 coupe and was surprised how well they fit. These were an early batch though have no idea the manufacturer. TP

they're still out there - "barn find" 30 coupe in so cal!

Hey Tiny! It's actually a mid-30's man that's causing the problem! We've been here 5+ years and they just moved in this past august. His uncle is a mechanic and has one of those new indians, and his dad was an ex-con or so he said back when we were speaking. Basically he decided to go the other...

they're still out there - "barn find" 30 coupe in so cal!

Hi Golden, let's say it was in the 4 figures so it wasn't a screaming deal, it was just a really really good deal seeing how all the parts are here! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ here's an update... Yesterday was a good day. Over the weekend I had planned on pulling the engine, thinking...

Odd Problem with Sale of T.

I had a similar situation when selling a belly tank (LSR style) on ebay, a bidder from Austria ended up winning after a bidding frenzy. There was definitely 2 weeks of expecting the high price to be cancelled, but after a couple hard to read emails, a small deposit was made on my paypal account...

    1931 Model A Roadster Blue

Hi You should take off those kick panels in the front cowl sides. The spot behind those rust spots is probably full of dirt, and retaining moisture. Real easy to clean with a putty knife and vacuum. TP

they're still out there - "barn find" 30 coupe in so cal!

Hey guys glad you appreciated it. I like reading the discovery threads when there's pictures, so figured I can't be alone here! First off I'm more of a hot rodder, but this one is so complete that its easier to go back to original, although I'm not doing any pretty work just a simple cleanup...

they're still out there - "barn find" 30 coupe in so cal!

Back in October a friend had contacted me about a model A coupe he found on some random estate sale website. I wasn't in any position financially or time-wise for any new project, so it was conveniently forgotten, until the sale date weeks later when Mario reminded me. Since neither of us could...

1933 or 1934 ford flathead long block

Hi. I'm trying to clear out some space. Up for consideration is a flathead block for a 1933 or 1934 ford. This has crankshaft, rods, pistons, valve train, camshaft, timing plate, beat oil pan too. There is barely a ridge in the cylinders. This was not magnufluxed but I scraped the typical crack...

    propane carburetor - 3-bolt adapter

Hi. Up for consideration is a cool ENSIGN propane carburetor, set up for the Ford 3-bolt pattern. I have no idea what it was used on other than it was on a flathead engine. Could have been a generator, a crop wind machine, a military vehicle, a forklift? It's a cool piece, the carburetor...
