    Floor boards-bottom or angle

I put some anti-squeak welting around the floorboards of my 1930 coupe. Now the boards are hard to fit. Does the bottom go in first or the angle board?

    Rear fender welt.

For installing the welt on rear fenders of a 1930 coupe, is the welt one piece through the fender arc and horizontally on the splash apron and then down to the running board or is the welt cut in two pieces? If some of you responders can send pictures of that corner where it goes horizontal...

    Oil line route

For my 30 standard coupe, I'm installing a Rex-a-Co, 0 to 10 PSI oil pressure gauge. I'm trying to decide the best route to install the copper oil pressure line. I've seen some installed horizontally from the engine fitting to the firewall, then a couple of 90's into an opening in the firewall...

    mounting EA Laboratory electric wiper

I just purchased an EA Laboratories electric wiper that functions perfectly. The wiper motor and mounting bracket are complete, but I want to set it up to work properly and know there are a lot of EA motors in use. The configuration of the mounting bracket is very similar to the Trico vacuum...

    Electric wiper motor mount

Canton A, thank you for your comment. The wiper motor in post 2 is 12 volt and I need a 6 volt unit which, in the configuration of the Snyder's part, is not available from them or other suppliers. Plus, it's about 5 times the price of other units.

    Electric wiper motor mount

Thank you all for your comments. As to the 6 V outside mount being referenced from Snyder's and other suppliers, they all report out of stock. I'll purchase the unit McGarrett shared in #6 and try to install on the inside through the header as I want the windshield fully operable.

    Electric wiper motor mount

Thank you all for your comments. The 6Volt unit that mounts on the inside and allows the windshield to open isn't available, and if it was, it's just too darn expensive. The unit I saw, and now cannot locate the picture, was quite a bit less expensive and mounted on the inside through the...

    Electric wiper motor mount

My 30 coupe was without a windshield wiper when purchased and I'm preparing to register it. It will be driver, not a points car. It's a 6 volt system which I want to retain. I'm interested using an electric wiper and have seen mounts installed through the header that allow the windshield to...

    amp meter question

The dash is on the bench, front facing down and not wired to anything at this time. The speedometer is installed. Could the magnet in the speedo be the source "pulling" the amp meter indicator? Appreciate all the help/responses.

    amp meter question

OK, I have a crazy issue. For my 30 coupe, i'm assembling the dash components on the bench and have installed the NuRex replacement ignition switch and the speedometer. The 30 A amp meter reads "zero" before I install it, but when I place it in the dash and make metal to metal contact, the...

    window channel install

OK, I'm ready to install my window channel, a kit from Snyder's, in my two door coupe. Each of the four channels has a hook at both ends. My questions: 1) Do you install both hooks? If so, how? 2) Do you install the top or bottom only and leave the other "unhooked?" 3) Is the channel friction...
